Sad day for torrent users, Mininova changes course

It's really a sad moment for me and for millions of supporters of this site (Mininova.org). It's been couple of years now that I have been a member of that site and I can't end my day without visiting Mininova. From there you can find whatever you were looking for, ebooks, softwares, tv shows, games, musics, anime, and my favorite... movies and concerts. It's a one-stop shop I could say, but everything is gone. Mininova limits their activities to "Content Distribution", as far as I understand, it means that you should be (or your company is) the copyright owner or publisher of quality content. For example, a company made a documentary film of something and they want to share it, this company has the rights to upload or share their film to others by using Mininova as there torrent host. Mininova sponsors the required seeding bandwidth and provides the exposure on the website. Before, visitors of Mininova can anonymously upload torrents to this website, you don't need to be a premium member to share and upload a torrent to this site, Now, you must be at least the copyright owner of the content that you wanted to share.

I can't say that this is the end of the world for torrent users, there's a lot of torrent search engines in the net, but I just can't help not to criticize this change of course that Mininova did. I know it's not there call, everything has set to legal and as we all know, no one is above the law. I extend my sympathy to you there in Mininova coz I know you can't do anything about it and I still hope for the best in your website.
